Happy Belated Valentine's Day, everyone! I hope everyone had a great night out, painting the town red, or a great night in, enjoying a cozy evening like I did. My husband made dinner for me (eggrolls), and I made dinner for him (steak), and we watched Hugh Grant's new movie, Rewrite, which was cute--and better than I expected, which is always good. And we had just seen Kingsman, the latest Colin Firth movie, the night before. I'm still waiting for a third Bridget Jones movie, but if we have to wait much longer, I'm afraid it's going to be Bridget and Mark becoming grandparents.

VALENTINE'S DAY GIFT #2--A SHOW
If you haven’t already begun to watch Hindsight, a new show on VH1 that premiered a few weeks ago, get thee to a TV! The premise is this: Becca, a forty-something, faints on the night before her second wedding and wakes up twenty years earlier in 1995 on the morning of her first wedding. She and her best friend, Lolly, try to straighten out the mistakes she made in her life, but as you know, fixing one mistake can sometime lead to others. It’s really adorable and funny, and it's filled with great 90s music. There are several hot love interests, and Becca and Lolly’s friendship is the heart of the show. You can watch the episodes that have already aired for free at VH1.com.

VALENTINE'S DAY GIFT #3--A DINOSAUR
You and I aren't time travelers like Duncan, or Becca, but if you have a smartphone, you can relive some of your best moments from the past with the Timehop app. Once you download it (it's free!) and grant it access to your various data and social media streams, Timehop prepares a daily peek into your past--one year ago, two years ago, three years ago, etc.) You’ll see the photos and videos you took, the tweets you tweeted, and the posts you posted. I drop everything I’m doing each day when the alert comes in. (Of course, I’m pretty easily distracted.) Great fun.

WRITING UPDATE
Book #2 in the Sirens of the Scottish Borderlands series, First Time with a Highlander (out October 2015), is done and to my editor! Yay! And I’m hard at work on #3, Every Time with a Highlander.
